'Through our THRIVE alternative school learning offer, based within Carluke Universal Connections, we have continued to strengthen our partnership with Carluke High School by creating positive learning opportunities that support young people’s mental health and wellbeing. Linking closely with the GET S.E.T. Girls programme developed by MsMissMrs, the sessions encourage participants to become confident, resilient and self-aware individuals through teamwork, honesty, inclusion and engaging activities in a youth work setting. 

The girls have taken part in outdoor learning experiences and boxing sessions with a local boxing club, helping them to build confidence, self-esteem and resilience while learning new skills. Participants are also continuing to work through their GET S.E.T. booklets, which have supported meaningful conversations and encouraged the girls to open up in a safe and supportive environment.'
