The GET S.E.T. training programme is designed for professionals who work with girls and young women aged 13 and over in educational, youth, health and social care settings.
It equips you with the essential knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to support young people on their empowerment journey and to address the challenges they face around self‑esteem, self‑acceptance and wellbeing.

Who It’s For
This training is ideal for teachers, youth workers, counsellors, support staff and other professionals seeking early‑intervention strategies and evidence‑based approaches to support the emotional and psychosocial wellbeing of the young women they work with.

What the
Training Involves
The online GET S.E.T. training has been thoughtfully structured to be engaging, interactive and practical. Rather than relying solely on passive content, the programme uses a range of learning formats including short video lessons, quizzes, reflective activities and guided self‑reflection tasks that bring the content to life.
You’ll be supported throughout the course with a teachers’ guide, resource booklet and participant workbooks to enhance your learning and to help you confidently deliver GET S.E.T. sessions to young women.
Core Module Areas

The training explores four key focus areas that are central to the GET S.E.T. approach:
-
Self‑awareness and self‑esteem
-
Strengths, needs, values and stress
-
Body image and self‑talk
-
Relationships, boundaries and communication
These themes have been developed to give you a deep understanding of the psychological, social and emotional factors that influence young people’s wellbeing.
How It Works & What You Will Gain
Once you enrol, the course is available for 30 days, allowing you to complete it at your own pace. Most participants take around 5–10 hours to finish the training in full. On completion, you’ll gain a thorough understanding of self‑esteem, self‑awareness and empowerment, along with insight into the pressures and challenges facing young women today.
You’ll develop the confidence and skills to deliver empowering GET S.E.T. group sessions and support participants through workbook‑based activities and workshops. By the end of the course, you will have practical tools, resources and strategies to apply directly in your professional setting.
